Creative Branches is a Publishing Industry Consultancy and Service Provider. We support people in publishing worldwide by connecting people to colleagues and resources, bringing a human touch to small business management and community building.
We’re based Portland, OR and focused on all ages illustrated stories, especially sci-fi/fantasy graphic novels. *not super into super heros btw 😉
Our programming prioritizes community building, socializing, and mental health management. We seek out and amplify marginalized voices in all their forms. But don’t let that discourage you from reaching out, attending, applying, or participating.

Giacomo’s signature consulting package is a monthly in person or video chat consultation and text/email access. Specializing in publicity, fandom management, typography/design, and crowdfunding (Kickstarter, Patreon, etc).
He’s mostly worked with illustrators and authors, and has been described as an “author therapist” or “paid accountabilibuddy”

Sealocked Spirits: Book 1 Isles is A cozy mix of Moana and Totoro.
Join Makala, the young spiritual guarian of a group of peaceful mariners, called The Clan. Even though The Clan is peaceful mainlanders recently attacked The Clan’s sacred isles. The fighting moved to the mainland, went on for months, and ended as quickly as it started.
Makala stayed behind to keep her people’s connection to the spirits. Now that the fighting has ended Makala seeks to reform The Clan’s connection to the spirits. In Book 1 Makala visits the four sacred isles of her people: Wayho, Buhok, Kunui, and Lan Bawa. There she asks the spirits for guidance in her daunting task.
A beautifully illustrated novellette that will inspire you to visit the shore. Sealocked Spirits is a digestible 80 page story that can be read in a night, or on a lazy Sunday morning.
